I am SO excited to announce that the incredible owners of Burn Bootcamp-North Raleigh have invited Tastefully Served to be a part of their program by providing our meals right to their gym! Lindsay, Kim and Sarah are inspiring women and guiding their clients to better health with their workout camps and personal focus meetings. Now together we are helping them achieve their nutrition goals by making Burn-approved meals as easy as 'heat and eat'. One of the things I admire about the women who commit to Burn is how they commit to Burn. They show up before work at 5am or after a long day of work at 6:30pm, and I don't know how they do it. Hopefully by making these meals available to them, it can be one less challenge in their day! We are focusing on flavorful lean protein, lots of vegetables and healthy carbohydrates to give the Burn community a delicious, healthy and stress-free option to stay on track.
Part of my excitement about this collaboration is personal, I will admit. Ever since I began spending time at Burn, my interest was piqued to give it a try, even though I was positive it wasn't for me. I really don't like pushing myself physically (if you ever see me running, you can be sure someone is chasing me). But they were gently persistent in inviting me to do a work out, and of course, now I am hooked. Yes, it's hard. Maybe even harder than I was expecting. But the encouraging atmosphere, the desire to better myself, and the insane endorphin high post-workout is addicting. I feel like a champion, which is funny because during the workout, I am usually just barely hanging on.
So, that's our exciting news! At the moment, we are delivering these meals exclusively to Burn, but we will be making them available to all of our customers very soon.
